For a BCI version of Slip that could be a spell that simply mentally tricks the mob into thinking the BCI has disappeared and then the BCI can Slip. Therefore the BCI can slip in the same room so there would need to be an exhaust on the spell or something.

About my previous aura idea, if auras are breakable by caster somehow, then also make it so they take 25% more damage from players and mobs of other colors :p Or possibly 25% protection from mobs but 25% more from players always just. Have fun if you decide to go with it and please be blunt and insulting if its shot down :P

When you die to shopkeeper in Antharia, you get a message "You have a vision of your corpse being moved..." at the end of deathspam. Its good that lowbies are moved out of the water area, but this message really needs to be clearer or have some sort of help explaning where the corpse ends up... It can be horribly confusing to new players not finding their corpse.

not sure how to explain this sensibly without taking away from the intended confusion in some cases. Open for ideas though.

Current stamina relative to max should have a direct impact on skills like dodge, the ability to swing a sword etc. It only makes sense and movepoints have little to no meaning currently. Maybe even affect stealthiness? It isn't as easy to be quiet when you're exhausted. I can think of a lot of things it could affect, but you get the idea.

This will come up with effort levels, which will deduct moves when you are using skills at higher than normal.

"Name Pet" option. After reading a fix on MANTIS, I noticed from Pyx.. It seems he couldn't ORDER his pet due to another rabbit being in the room. While he could always use 2.rabbit, I thought perhaps a noob friendly thing would be the ability to name your pet adding a keyword to the charmie's name.

shrug, maybe in the form of adding a keyword. Name rules would apply. It could cause even more confusion though too - eg naming the pet like other players or like other mobs.

Double idea here. Items that pop with pgems embedded IN them. (considerable rare of course) such as a cavern wall. Give Gno and DGN racial_hew allowing them a chance to remove them from the wall. On a fail it shatters, on average it's just non-perfect and just turns out to be money, on a good roll it's a

perfect gemstone. Also works on misembedded pgems from gear.

Instead of making higher lvl potions lag a player, could they just be unusable by lower levels? I was given one, and being new I did not know about lag, and it sat me in a room for 15 rounds until I died (on a DC quest). I think just making them impossible to use would be better. Thanks.

if you were using it outside combat it might be fine though. Documentation, add a comment about potential lag from potions.

Have it be perm gear even if you die that way you can play around with various setups over time and keep the best gear from each furnish or even try and enchant it for a few extra points of ac or hit/dam (if that even matter at all)

it is not meant to be enchantable or in any form permanent. Get gear from mobs for that. You can get a new set when you die, as the spell exhaustion disappears.

Just a thought on making weapons even more special - kind of like the rune idea but adding a different kind of flavor - its called 'Sigil' - elemental enchants that can be embedded on weapons for extra elemental damage - think Diablo I suppose, where a weapon has a proc of more damage, or a chance to proc more damage - can have all element types and strengths. Little more customization for the weapons. -

we are planning some more crafting options along the elemental lines. However; this needs to go along with the creation of a whole system of elemental resistances and vulnerabilities.

An ideal improvement of held shot would allow it to function on the round it was used only if it was executed immediately after the previous round. This would make it function every other round, but allow archers flexibility to avoid interrupts and make the class more active. Add successful post-lag (a la vital shot) to prevent it being used every round.

It would make the skill more efficient, but I am not sure how it would require more activity? I am currently considering ways how effort-levels could impact on archery though.
