At the moment the way to add a pic for yourself is to add an 'avatar' in your profile, this will show in the forums etc. But of course, that is not the same.
I could enable the link for submitting photos to a player photogallery now, or I could make you wait until we have finished the player-profile/char-list add on, where you will have to add it again.
Which do you prefer?

I remember browsing the old Avatar picture page... it was kind of fun to look up the people you were running with at 2 a.m. when you've been running together for 8 hours straight. Of course it was also fun to browse between runs and to look at people's description things that went under the pictures. Ah, good times! Looking forward to seeing this added.

You might want to update or remove the Pic of Zed. The pic posted was probably the original Zed, I know for a fact the current owner of that character is not that guy...

The picture in question has been removed. I took the liberty of removing the photos of non-existant players, but I have know way of knowing which characters have changed hands at lowmort when it was allowed, I removed the ones I knew had swapped hands. If anyone knows of others, let me know.
Note: These photos were from the original outland.org gallery, and not associated with Debonair's page.

Would be nice for the future if pictures of chars that havent been logged in a year are moved to some sort of player picture archive, it feels a bit alienated when half the people you see there dont ring a bell at all when you play regulary.
Would this be scriptable? Perhaps in assossiation with some of the db projects pulse has? |

I'm not 100% certain that this is feasible.
Some people have lots of alts, if the check is only on the player name that they are listed on the gallery, then a script could well end up archiving pictures of active players who have decided to focus on other alts.
This will probably be easier to do if it is possible to implement accounts. |

Another option could be that those people that have a web account will be tracked and their (submitted) photos are archived after X months. I don't think you can submit a photo (if it is even implemented yet) without an account anyway.
